WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The
Head, Division of Agricultural Physics, IARI, Pusa, New Delhi-110012,
wishes to immediately recruit one Senior Research Fellows (SRF) purely
on temporary/contractual basis in the project as per the particulars
given below.
Project Title: “Web Enabled
Weather Based Decision Support System for Forewarning and Management of
Important Insect Pests and diseases of Rapeseed-Mustard in Delhi
National Capital Region – A Pilot Study.” funded by DST, New Delhi.
PI: Dr Deb Kumar Das (Senior Scientist)
Senior Research Fellow (Plant Protection)
Rs 16000/- + House Rent Allowance
Post
Graduate Degree (M.Sc. / Ph.D) in Agricultural Sciences / Life Sciences
with specialization in any plant protection subject from a recognized
university / institution.
Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and integrated pest management.
Date of Interview: 25/06/2013
Terms and Conditions:
(i) The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The post is co-terminus with the Project or up to 31.03.2014, whichever is earlier.
(ii) The candidate age should be maximum 35 years (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC).
(iii) The applicant must bring with them detailed bio-data, original documents, attested copies of certificates of age and qualifications, a brief of research work done during post graduation, reprints and one passport size photograph at the time of interview. An advance copy of bio-data may be sent to Dr Deb Kumar Das, PI, Division of Agricultural Physics, IARI, Pusa, New Delhi -110012 by post or email at dkdas.iari@gmail.com
(iv) No objection certificate from the employer shall be produced in case the candidate is employed elsewhere.
(v) Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
(vi) The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the room of Head, Division of Agricultural Physics, NRL Building, IARI, New Delhi on 25th June, 2013 at 10.30 A.M.
(vii) The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this Institute as the post is co-terminus with respective Project.
(viii) The continuation of the Senior Research Fellow will depend upon the progress reviewed every six months.
(ix) No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview
