Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow for a DST funded project entitiled "Comparison
of the chemopreventive efficacy of free curcumin and biodegradable
polymer based nano curcumin in Benzo[a] pyrene-induced lung
carcinogenesis" in the laboratory of Dr. Ruby John Anto at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must have M.Sc/M.Tech in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with at least 60% marks,
- Should have qualified CSIR-NET/UGC-NET/GATE/Kerala University PhD Entrance
- Must have at least one publication in International Journal
- Should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc/M.Tech research experience.
AGE :
Below 35 years as on 1st July, 2013.
EMOLUMENTS : Rs 18,000/- + 20% HRA for CSIR/UGC NET qualified candidates Rs 16,000/- + 20% HRA for others.
DURATION : Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only
those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for
interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by
screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the
selection interview.

otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be
co terminus with end of the project.
