Application are invited for the post of a full time Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a major research project entitled “Dietary supplement of Crataegus Oxycantha extract as potential therapeutics against high fat induced inflammatory response and associated cardio vascular diseases” supported by DBT, New Delhi.

Essential qualification: First class in M.Sc. (Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ /Life Science) with research experience in the field of Molecular Techniques/ Animal surgical Techniques.

Desirable Qualification: Experience in an area relevant (Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology) to the project.

Fellowship: Rs.14, 000+HRA/Month as per University rule.

Duration: Three years or till the end of the project period.

Upper age limit: 28 years

Jayachandran, Assistant Professor, Department of Bioinformatics, School of Life Science, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli – 620 024, Tamil Nadu, on or before June 25, 2013 by post. Interview will be conducted on 28th June 2013.

The above post is purely temporary and will be terminated with three month notice. The Terms and the Condition of the appointment shall be governed according to DBT, Govt. of India. The eligible candidates should bring their original certificates and documents at the time of interview. Selected candidates will be allowed to register for Ph.D. Degree in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
