Applications in prescribed form are invited by University of Burdwan for the award of State Funded J.R.F. in Physics (02), Chemistry (05), Mathematics (07), Zoology (04), Botany (04), Geography (02), Statistics (01), Computer Science (01) & Environmental Science (02)

Basic eligibility is UGC NET / GATE / SET qualification.

Candidates having Masters Degree in the relevant subject but awaiting final certificate of UGC NET / GATE / SET may also apply but must have to submit the certificate on or before the date of interview.

Forms may be had from the University Sales Counter at Rajbati, Burdwan on cash payment of Rs. 250/- and on production of documents in support of basic eligibility from 10.06.2013 to 28.06.2013 (Not on Saturdays & Holidays) between 11 am and 1 pm on any working day.  Application forms may also be downloaded from the University website: http://www.buruniv.ac.in.  Candidates obtaining the form from the University website must enclose a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- issued in favour of ‘Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan’ payable at Burdwan at the time of submitting the same.

Last date of submission of filled in forms is 28.06.2013.
