Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project funded by SERB, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, Government of India at the Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

The details of requirement are as given below:

Essential Qualification 1st class M.Sc.,/M.Phil. in Agriculture/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Genetic Engineering/ Life Sciences from recognized University.

Preferred Qualification NET/ GATE/ or previous research experience in plant tissue culture, plant transformation and molecular biology techniques is desirable.
Salary As per SERB, DST norms

Project Title “Over-expression of Sugarcane MYB Transcription Factor Genes for Drought Stress Tolerance in Tomato – An Emerging Model Fruit Crop”

Duration of the project Three years

Age limit 28 years
