Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow to work under the BRNS, Govt of India, sanctioned project entitled ‘Comparative effects of hydroalcoholic extracts of Psidium guajava and Persea americana with its bioactive principle in modulating radiation induced cytotoxicity’ at the Department of Biochemistry, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Manipal University, Manipal.

Duration of the project: Three years.

Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Life Sciences/M.Sc. in Biotechnology/M.Sc. in Biochemistry and candidates with proven research experience in the above field will
be given priority.

Emoluments: Rs 16,000 per month (consolidated) for the first two years and Rs 18,000 for the third year.
