JRF and SRF

Walk-in interview will be held on 24th August, 2012 (Friday) at 11:00 am in the Department of Botany, Mizoram University, Aizawl for the post of one (1) RA (or) JRF (or) SRF under CSIR Major Research Project entitled, “Ethnobotanical Survey and Documentation of Traditional Knowledge of Selected Ethnic Tribal Groups of Mizoram” 

Duration: 02 years.

Eligible for RA: Candidate having Ph.D. degree in Botany/Life Science/Forestry/Environmental Science. Evidence of research is essential from published work; Emolument: Rs. 22,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible;

Age: Below 35 years.

Eligible for SRF: Candidates having M.Sc. degree in Botany/Life Science/Forestry/Environmental Science and two years of post M.Sc. Evidence of research experience is essential from published work;

Emolument: Rs. 16,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible;

Age: Below 32 years.

Eligible for JRF: Candidates having M.Sc. degree in Botany/Life Science/Forestry/Environmental Science and the candidate must qualified NET (JRF/LS)/GATE;

Emolument: Rs. 12,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible;

Age: Below 28 years.

General: The eligible, age and emolument will be strictly as per CSIR norms. Appointment is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should bring all the original certificates/testimonials for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
