FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 16,000/- plus HRA

PROJECT DURATION: 2012-2015 (Three years)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT funded IYBA project entitled “Generating a protein-ncRNA interactome for dorso-ventral patterning genes in Drosophila” in the Lab. of Molecular Biology, at the Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University, New Delhi.

Eligibility criteria:

M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech. in any discipline of Biological Sciences/Biotechnology. The candidate should be motivated and also have required skills in molecular biology, genetics and/or genomics. Preference would be given to candidates with research experience in the field of Drosophila genetics.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

-No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview which will be held at Akbar Bhavan, Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

- Candidates would be informed about interview date by email.

-Selection Committee reserves the right to relax any of the qualifications, in case, the candidate is found otherwise qualified and decision of the committee, in this regard, would be final.

-The abovementioned post is temporary and will be initially offered for a period of one year which can be extended, on satisfactory performance, for a maximum period of three years.
