Project Entitled: “A study of the role of novel orphan family members of ER and their interacting corepressors in Chromatin remodeling leading to deregulation of ER-alpha in Breast Cancer ” (Funded by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India)
1. Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow (01 No)
Fellowship: Rs.18, 000/- per month plus @ 20% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Essential Qualification : Candidates with M.Sc./ M.Tech in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, with 55% or equivalent OGP/CGP. He or she should have experience in the field of Breast Cancer Research for a minimum period of 3 years as evidenced by publication/s in peer reviewed journal/s.
Desirable qualification: He or she should be highly motivated for taking up the challenges of designing, troubleshooting the experiments.
2. Name of the Post : Technician (01 No)
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and one year full time Diploma in Medical Lab. Technician (DMLT) course from recognized Institution.
Desirable Qualification: One-three year of working experience in a Molecular Biology Laboratory. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in computer. Experience in animal tissue culture is also desirable.
Emoluments: Rs 10,000/- (fixed) without HRA
Project Entitled: “Epigenetic status of Pro/anti apoptotic activity of age related genes involved in Breast Cancer” (Funded by Dept. of Biotechnology, Govt. of India)
3. Name of the Post : Junior Research Fellow (01 No)
Fellowship: Rs.16, 000/- per month plus @ 20% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 28 years
Essential Qualification : Candidates with Master’s degree or equivalent with 55% aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in branch of Biotechnology, Microbiology ,Biochemistry or in any subject branch of Life Sciences are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have NET JRF/LS qualification by CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST.
He or she will not be allowed to register for Ph.D. However on the basis of his or her performance in terms of peer reviewed publications, he or she may be encouraged to move into Ph.D. Programme.
Desirable qualification: More than 60 % throughout the career.
Project Entitled: Study of Estrogen Receptor alpha (ER-alpha) in Breast Cancer patients with reference to local population. (DBT, Govt. of India)
4. Name of the Post : Project Assistant (01 No)
Essential Qualification: Candidates with Master’s degree or equivalent with 55% aggregate marks or above (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in any branch of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry or in any branch of Life Sciences are eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualification: More than 60 % throughout the career.
Emoluments: Rs 8,000/- (fixed) without HRA
Upper Age Limit: 28 years
