The engagement as a Project Fellow in the projects is purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointment will initially be offered for a period of one year and will be extended yearly basis till the duration of the project depending on the satisfactory performance of the incumbent. The appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice. Total duration of project assistantship in CSIR Laboratories is maximum of 5 years. Therefore, if an incumbent switches between the projects, the appointment will terminate on the day he/she completes 05 years as a Project Fellow. Please note that it is not an IMTECH/CSIR appointment and will not confer any right of the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit or any position.

Fellowship: Rs.18, 000/- per month plus @ 20% HRA
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Essential Qualification : Candidates with M.Sc./ M.Tech in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, with 55% or equivalent OGP/CGP. He or she should have experience in the field of Breast Cancer Research for a minimum period of 3 years as evidenced by publication/s in peer reviewed journal/s.
Desirable qualification: He or she should be highly motivated for taking up the challenges of designing, troubleshooting the experiments.
2. Name of the Post : Technician (01 No)
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and one year full time Diploma in Medical Lab. Technician (DMLT) course from recognized Institution.
Desirable Qualification: One-three year of working experience in a Molecular Biology Laboratory. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in computer. Experience in animal tissue culture is also desirable.

Upper Age Limit: 28 years
Essential Qualification : Candidates with Master’s degree or equivalent with 55% aggregate marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in branch of Biotechnology, Microbiology ,Biochemistry or in any subject branch of Life Sciences are eligible to apply.
Candidates should have NET JRF/LS qualification by CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/DST.
He or she will not be allowed to register for Ph.D. However on the basis of his or her performance in terms of peer reviewed publications, he or she may be encouraged to move into Ph.D. Programme.
Desirable qualification: More than 60 % throughout the career.
