Applications are invited up to 28th December, 2012 for the under mentioned post at this Institute.

Technical Assistant (Two): One Post Open (Un-Reserved) and One Post Reserved for OBC

Scale of Pay:  PB-2: Rs. 9300-48000 plus Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.

Qualification and Experience:

Essential :  Three years Bachelor Degree in Life Science / Microbiology / Biochemistry from a Recognized University with one year Diploma in Medical Lab. Technology (DMLT) OR one year experience in the lower scale.

Desirable:  M.Sc. with Life Science / Microbiology / Biochemistry with one year Experience will be preferred. 

Job Requirement:  To assist in research and referral service of the Institute.

Age:    Not exceeding 30 years. Age relaxable by 5 years for Govt. Servants, SC, Stand Physical Handicapped
            Candidates and by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy layer) candidates subject to production from competent
            authorities. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS :-

• Benefits of New restructured defined contributory Pension scheme are admissible  as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB & PR dated 22.12.2003 effective from 1.1.2004.
• Applications along with Bio-data with a passport size photograph and attested copies of Certificates, Testimonials, Caste Certificate (SC/ST/Non-Creamy OBC Certificate for appointment in Govt. of India), Experience Certificate should be forwarded to the  DIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF IMMUNOHAEMATOLOGY, (ICMR), 13th floor, New Multistoreyed Complex, K.E.M. Hospital Campus, Parel, Mumbai – 400012, before due date.
• A Demand Draft or a Postal Order for Rs.100/- in favour of Director, National Institute of Immunohaematology, Mumbai payable at Mumbai should be enclosed with the applications.  SC/ST/Physical Handicapped and Women candidates only are exempted from this payment.
• Application from candidates working in Central / State Government of PSU should be forwarded through proper channel.
• Incomplete / late application or those without Postal Orders / Demand Draft and withour copies of Certificates will not be entertained and rejected.
• Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection/recruitment shall be disqualification.
• Selection will be made on the basis of result of competitive test and interview.  Short listed candidates will be called for test and further short listed candidates only will be called for interview.
• The decision of the Director, NIIH will be final in this regard.
