WALK IN INTERVIEW
A Walk-in Interview will be held at the Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi - 630 003 on 10.1.2013 (Thursday) at 11.00 AM for the position of ONE JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) for the DST funded project entitled, “Evaluation of the effect of Padina gymnospora against β-amyloid peptide (25-35) induced neurotoxicity: An in-vitro study ”.
Duration: Three years
Qualifications
1
Class M.Sc.,/ Post Graduate/Graduate (with GATE) degree in Professional
Courses in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology
or equivalent of a recognized University.
The emoluments depend on the qualifications of the candidate

Post
graduate (PG) degree in Basic Sciences and NET qualified (or) Graduate
degree in Professional Courses and GATE or equivalent qualification - -
Rs 16,000 + HRA
Post graduate (PG) degree in Basic Sciences who have NET qualified for lectureship - Rs 12,000 + HRA
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses - Rs 18,000 + HRA
Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses - Rs 18,000 + HRA
If NET/GATE qualified candidate for the project post is not available, project support staff like Project Fellow may be considered for appointment, the emoluments of which will depend on the norms of Alagappa University, Karaikudi. Candidates appearing for the Walk-in Interview should bring CV, copies of certificates and all original certificates/ testimonials for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
