Scientific Assistants
• Physical – 2
Eligibility: The
candidate must hold, as on date of notification, have passed M.Sc. in I
or II Division with Physics as the subject or Forensic Science with
Physics as special subject or an equivalent qualification from any
University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central
Act, or Provincial Act or State Act or an Institution recognized by the
University Grants Commission
• Chemical – 7
Eligibility: The
candidate must hold, as on date of notification, have passed M.Sc. in I
or II Division with Physics as the subject or Forensic Science with
Physics as special subject or an equivalent qualification from any
University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central
Act, or Provincial Act or State Act or an Institution recognized by the

• Biology/Serology – 7
Eligibility: The
candidate must hold, as on date of notification, have passed M.Sc. in I
or II Division with Biology or Zoology o rBotany or Microbiology or
Bio-Technology or ForensicScience with Biology as the subject or an
equivalent qualification from any University in India established or
incorporated by or under a Central Act, or Provincial Act or State Act
or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission
• Laboratory Technician – 3
Eligibility: SSC or any other examination recognised by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC
Age as on 01-07-2012: 18-33

Selection Procedure/Scheme: The Selection Procedure/Scheme of the Exam will be
as follows:

of three (3) marks for every completed six months of service subject to

candidates shall be called for interview in the ratio of 1:2 with
reference to the number of vacancies based on their total score in the
written examination (40 marks) and Weightage
