Applications are invited for the following positions for the research Project entitled “Analysis of microbial community of coal overburdened sites of different ages in Assam”
sponsored by DBT, Govt. of India, New Delhi under Dr. Diganta Narzary,
Department of Botany, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14 for a period of
three years.
1. JRF -2 (two) posts.
Qualification: M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology.
Work experiences in microbiology/molecular biology/bioinformatics will be preferred.
Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- +HRA for NET /GATE qualified, otherwise Rs. 12,000/- + HRA
Age Limit: Not more than 28 years
2. Project Assistant-1(one) post.
Qualification: B.Sc. (Botany/Microbiology)
Emoluments: Rs. 8,000/- per month
Age Limit: Not more than 28 years
Application
in plain paper stating Bio-Data with photocopies of all testimonials of
candidates are requested to submit to Dr. Diganta Narzary (PI) on or
before 19-04-2014. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing
the interview which will be held on 21-04-2014 at 10 A.M. in the
Department of Botany, G.U. No separate communication will be made for
the interview. All the documents in original will have to be produced by
the candidate at the time of interview.
