Filling of two Positions of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the following posts for a period of three years:

Junior Research Fellow: Two

Research Project: "Scope of enhancing carbon sequestration by oak forests in central Himalaya".

Essential qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences/ Life Sciences with practical knowledge of Plant Ecology.

Desirable qualifications: Field experience in Himalayan forest ecosystems and willing to visit forest sites in Central Himalaya regularly during the project tenure.

Emoluments: @ Rs. 16000/ p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs. 18000/ p.m. for third year onwards plus applicable HRA as per the rules.
