WALK- IN-INTERVIEW
The eligible candidates may appear an interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow
in Zoological Survey of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre,
Haddo, Port Blair – 744 102, Andaman and Nicobar Islands under the REIA
project entitled, ‘Studies on biotic components in North Andaman’ funded by Military Engineering Services (Ministry of Defence, Government of India), Port Blair – 744 105, A&N Islands.
Junior Research Fellow 3
M.Sc. degree in Zoology / Marine Biology / Life Sciences from a recognized University
Research experience in Ascidians /Actinarians/ Pycnogonids / Molluscs
Experience in Scuba diving and snorkeling
Rs.12,000 + HRA per month
Duration : 1 year (further extension depends on the quality of work carried out).
Date and Place of Interview : 27th March 2014 at 09 30 hrs at Zoological Survey of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre, Port Blair
General Instructions:
1. Upper age limit is 35 for men and 40 years for women candidates
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in applications addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Zoological Survey of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Centre, Port Blair-744 102, with attested copies of testimonials, educational qualifications, research experience, proof for date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations and ‘No Objection Certificate’ from present employer (if employed). All original documents should be produced at the time of interview for verification.
3. No travel expenses will be paid to the candidates.
4. The application form can be downloaded from the Zoological Survey of India website http://zsi.gov.in.
5. The Director, ZSI reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of incomplete information provided by the candidate or for any other reason.
