Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST (Science & Engineering Research Board) Government of India, sponsored project (INSPIRE) entitled “Mechanism deployed by plant host to maintain its genomic integrity, in response to bacterial stress.” in the Department of Plant Science, School of Biological Sciences, Central University of Kerala.

Stipend - Rs. 14000/-
Tenure - Three years
Qualifications -
Master of Science in any subject under Life Science (Plant Science/
Botany/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture/ Genomics/ Biotechnology/ Molecular/
Genetics/ Biology etc).
Desirable qualifications: CSIR-UGC-NET/JRF or M.Phil.
(A)
The post is purely temporary and initially only for a period of ONE
year but extendable till the completion of the project upon assessment
of the performance of the candidate.
(B) Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be made as per the DST and the Central University of Kerala rules.
(C) The applicants should carry all original certificates at the time of attending the interview.
(D) Age limit up to 28 years as per project terms and conditions.
