Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project titled "Elucidating signaling mechanisms in plant responses to drought stress mitigation by beneficial soil bacteria", sponsored by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS-Pilani), under the supervision of Dr. Sridev Mohapatra, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
Project duration: 2 years and Fellowship amount: Rs. 10,000/month
Eligibility requirements: M.Sc. in plant biology, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, life sciences or a related discipline with at least 60% marks. Hands-on experience in basic molecular biology techniques is a plus.
Candidates with valid NET/GATE scores will be preferred.
