Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (two nos) to work in a research project entitled, ‘Environmental impact on sperm quality and cryopreservation of spermatozoa of selected finfish and shellfish’ funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi for the period of three years (2013–2016) in the Department of Zoology, University of Madras, Guindy Campus, Chennai 600 025, Tamil Nadu.
Qualifications: First class in M.Sc., Life Sciences/Marine Biology/Marine Sciences/Zoology/Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies/Aquaculture.
Desirable: Research experience in fisheries with CSIR–NET.
Fellowship: Rs 12,000 per month + HRA.
