Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a collaborative research project with JNCASR, Bangalore entitled “Identification of DNA replication origins and origin binding proteins of the human pathogen, Candida albicans” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India.

Minimum qualifications: NET/GATE qualified with M. Sc./BE/B. Tech. (Life Science subjects) with specialization in Genetics, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with 55% marks.

Salary: @ Rs. 12,000/-p.m. for the first two years, Rs. 14,000/-p.m. for the third year if extended as SRF, plus HRA as per university rules which will be co-terminus with the tenure of the project.

Age Limit: 28 years as on last date of receiving application (5 years relaxation for female/SCST/OBC candidates).

All qualifications being equal, the SC-ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates if called for interview. Applications with complete bio-data and attested copies of
