Applications are invited from candidates having M.Sc. or M.Phil. degree in botany with specialization in taxonomy to work on plant identification, collection and DNA barcoding.
Experience in molecular biology, DNA isolation and DNA sequencing is not required. But experience in plant identification gained from M.Sc./M.Phil. thesis work or job after M.Sc./M.Phil. is essential. Salary can be upto Rs 20,700 per month based on experience and NET qualification. The selected candidates will be able to register for Ph.D. in SRM University.
