First Class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Science and Two years relevant experience in cell lines maintenance and molecular biology techniques
CSIR-UGC LS/GATE qualified with experience of animal handling/cell lines maintenance and molecular biology techniques. The candidate must have skill in computer applications for software based instruments handling as well as data recording. The selected candidate will work with the scientists engaged in identification for target sites of the antidiabetic drugs and exploring their mechanism of action.

Candidate should have working knowledge of cell culture and routine molecular biology applications. Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification is desirable.

General Instructions:

1. Maximum age for Project Assistant Level I, II is 28 Years, for Project Assistant Level – III is 30 years & for Project Assistant Level - IV is 35 years.
2. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI orders.
3. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the completion of the Projects and non- transferable to any other Projects.
5. Suitable candidate can be empanelled for future requirement under different projects.
6. Higher Start up can be considered for NET- LS qualified candidates.

The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the closing date of registration.

The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above in the Conference Room of CDRI, Lucknow. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application (which can be downloaded from our website www.cdriindia.org), with original & attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

Note:- Candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and age will be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee for interview. Written test in the subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist candidates for the interview on the same day. The candidates are required to register themselves on line for the interview by sending email at recruit@cdri.res.in (typing their name and D.O.B {in dd- mm- yyyy format} and position code in the subject of the email id). The registration can be done up to a day before the date of the interview. Depending upon the number of candidates, the interview may be continued for the subsequent days also, therefore outsider candidates are requested to make their own arrangements accordingly.
Eligible candidates are required to report for the Interview between 9:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M on concerned date. Candidates reporting after 10:00 A.M will not be entertained.
