Project : Development of a microbial process for D-mannitol production
Qualifications/experience
M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology/ with minimum 55% marks
Desirable Research Experience in microbial processes, shake flask and laboratory scale fermentation, instrumental analysis using HPLC
Job requirement Microbial fermentation, extraction of mannitol from culture broth, analysis, quantification, documentation
Age Lmit* For PAII- 28 years
Consolidated fixed emoluments per month Rs. 8,000/- PM consolidated

*Age limit as shown above is relaxable by 5 years in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST community and 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC community.

The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee should directly appear before the Selection Committee for an interview at Chemical Engineering and Process Development Division Conference Room of the Laboratory at 10 AM. on 17th August 2010.
No interview call letter will be issued separately.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
