DEPARTMENT OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING 
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, RAIPUR 
Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow in a DST-SERB for Early Career Research award project entitled “Development of Differential Multimodal Spectral Imaging system to detect foot sole risk areas in Diabetic patients” to be executed in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Raipur. 

ELIGIBILITY Educational Qualification :M.E/ M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical Electronics, Applied Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, BioPhysics, Biophotonics, Electronics and Communication Engineering or M.Sc in Bioelectronics, Biophysics with NET/GATE qualification or B.E/ B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering with GATE qualification. (M.Tech Final semester candidates waiting for final results may also apply) 
Funding Agency : DST -Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) 
Consolidated Fellowship Amount : Rs. 25,000/- for the first year and Rs. 28,000/- for the second year  
Duration of the project : 2 years 
Applications completed in all respects should reach the undersigned by 17-10-2017 and applicants should appear for the walk in interview on 24-10-2017 at 11.30 AM in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Raipur. 
Terms and Conditions: 
1. The above position is purely temporary and Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review after each year. 
2. Candidates are required to appear for the interview with photocopy of the application form, curriculum vitae, and all relevant original certificates with a set of self -attested photocopies of the certificates. 
3. No TA/DA is permissible for appearing for interview. 
4. Selected candidates will not be permitted to claim for any regular/part time appointments in this institute or any other institutes during this period. 
5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature and the appointment shall be co-terminus with the project.
