Applications are invited from eligible candidates for walk-in-interview on 25- 09-2017 at 10.30 a.m. for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), purely on contractual basis at Division of Microbiology, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi - 110012. 

DBT funded project titled “India-UK Nitrogen Fixation Center (IUNFC)” 

Essential qualification Master’s degree in Microbial Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR Memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. 2 Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015) 

Desirable qualification

1. Demonstrated experience in basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning, gene function and characterization. 

2. Basic bioinformatics tools of sequence analysis, expression analysis. 

Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HR D Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HR D Dated 09.10.2015) 35 years for men & 40 years for women (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules) One year or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
