Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a research project “Comparative
Resistance Study to Identify Molecular Markers for the Control of Dusky
cotton Bug Oxycarenus laetus Kirby (Hemiptera: Lygaeidae) across
Habitats using Mitochondrial DNA and Transcriptomics approaches“ funded by DST-SERB Young Scientist Scheme, Government of India.
Eligibility:
First class in M.Tech. Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Computer Science.
Knowledge in Next Generation Sequencing Technologies such as
Transcriptome / Exome / Genome analysis is preferable. Knowledge in
Linux, Perl, Python/PHP, HTML is must.
Stipend: Rs. 20, 000 per month (fixed)*
Project Duration: 3 Years
Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate should register for full time Ph.D. program at SRM University, Kattankulathur, Chennai.
