Biology, Biochemistry with JRF Net qualification//M.Tech in
Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering with JRF Net qualification OR
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech with GATE.
Rs. 16000/- P.M plus 20% HRA (Without NET/GATE the fellowship amount is Rs.12,000/- p.m )
28 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC and Women candidate as per Govt. of India/ CSIRs instructions

The position is purely on temporary on Contract basis on behalf of the
sponsorer. However, the tenure of the Project can be extended depending
upon the tenure of the Project and the performance of the candidate. It
will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Contract may be
terminated any time by giving one month notice by either side. The
applicants will have no claim whatsoever implicit or explicit for
consideration against any CSIR post.
Reservation:
As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates
may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure their
representation.
Such of the candidates who fulfils the eligibility conditions may please Walk-in for-interview on 20th January, 2015
in the Seminar Hall of this Institute (CSIR-Institute of Microbial
Technology, Sector-39/A, Chandigarh-160036) along with complete bio-data
in the prescribed format (to be downloaded from IMTECH website) duly
signed and enclosing attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials
in support of date of birth, qualification/ experience etc. and one
passport size photographs. Original certificates are also to be produced
for verification at the time of Interview.
Note:
1. Thesis submitted and result awaited candidates are not eligible for interview.
2. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
