Candidates interested to work on experimental biology should have work experience in techniques that are routinely  used in molecular biology and mammalian cell culture. A basic knowledge of bioinformatics is also desired.

The project involves a synthesis a number of isoquinolines , indole analogues, indene analogues chemistry using coupling chemistry and  chiral catalyst. The students having experience will be given preference. The candidate with masters in Chemical Sciences discipline having an experience of one year on synthetic chemistry, organic chemistry, development of novel methodology to synthesize novel heterocyclic moiety.
• Student with Biology background should have an experience in protein expression, Purification, cloning, DNA isolation, Agarose gel running, SDS gel running, PCR, DNA sequencing, Western Blotting, Confocal Microscopy, Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Microscopy.

Essential Qualification: MSc in any branch of life science (First Class or A+) with NET qualification, NET (Lectureship) / GATE.

Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- / Rs. 16,000/- (depending on qualification) along with HRA as per DST rules and Medical allowance as per University rules will be provided for selected candidates for an initial duration of 18 months.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
