Applications are invited for the recruitment of following project personnels in the two Research Projects funded by National Medicinal Plant Board (NMPB), New Delhi, to work at RFRI, Jorhat.
1. "Development of descriptors and evaluation of artificial inoculation in Aquilaria
malaccensis

M.Sc. First class in Agriculture/Botany/Life Science with two years of research experience and specialization in plant pathology/pl breeding and genetics/biotechnology /microbiology/taxonomy

The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the projects. Selected candidates need to join immediately and has to work until the tenure of the project.
Upper Age limit: 32 years for SRF, 28 years for JRF & FA as on closing date for receiving of applications. (Relaxable up-to 5 years for SC/ST/ Women and 3 years for OBC candidates).
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
For each post, candidate should apply separately and application should be sent to concerned Principal Investigator.
Closing date for receiving the application will be 8th November, 2013. 
With regard to project- 2, selected candidates will be required to visit Mizoram and Tripura for monitoring purpose.
The research work of JRF and SRF in the project may lead to the PhD degree if the candidates desire.
