Applications are invited for Indian nationals for the position of “JRF” in a DBT sponsored project entitled “Interplay between patterning regulators and polar auxin transport to control lateral organ polarity in Arabidopsis”. Qualifications: For JRF- Master’s degree in any area of Biological Sciences with minimum of 55% marks. Qualified NET-JRF/LS or GATE (valid qualified score) candidates are preferred.
Experience: Familiarity with techniques in molecular biology, genetics and microspcopy is preferred. Some experience with working on plants is a plus.
Age limit: 28 yrs for JRF. A relaxation of 3-5 yrs will be applicable to SC/ST/OBC.
Fellowship: 12000/p.m. + 20 % HRA for 1st and 2ndyear and @ Rs. 14000/-pm +20% HRA for 3rdyear (as per DST guidelines),

Duration: Initial appointment for one year, extendable up to 3 yrs based on performance.
