WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 15th September 2011

Two positions of the Senior Project Fellows on a consolidated salary of Rs. 18,000/-p.m. plus HRA are to be filled up on purely temporary, ad hoc and contractual basis under the project titled “Plasmodium research and training in India”.

The present tenure of the project is March 2012. The fellow will be stationed at Delhi but he/she may be required to carry out field tour in remote areas for the collection of biological samples.

Essential Qualification: First class M.Sc. in Life Sciences with two years of research experience in the field of molecular biology on the date of interview, preferably in the field of malariology

Desirable: some working experience in the field of molecular biology

Age: Up to 35 years (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules and also for having deserving candidates).

Note: The project work involves field work in rural areas and the selected candidate may be asked to undertake visit to field areas. The Director NIMR is authorized to terminate the fellowship prior to tenure without assigning any reason. Registration of candidates will be done during 10.00 AM-1045 AM
