A WALK-IN-INTERVIEW is fixed for (3.08.2010,10.00 AM) for the following posts in the Division of Biochemistry, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012.
Post Doctoral Fellow (Rs. 18000+HRA) fixed – One
Qualifications:
Essential: PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biosciences
Desirable: Research experience in the area of plant biochemistry Molecular biology techniques.
Senior Research Fellow (Rs. 12000+HRA) Fixed - Two
Qualifications:
Essential: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences. - One
M.Sc. in Microbiology/Plant Pathology/Life Sciences - One
Desirable: Experience in the related field.
AGE: The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman will be given as per the Govt. of India instructions on the subject.
The period of engagement of Post Doctoral Fellow will be initially for a period of 1 year which may be extendable upto the XIth Plan Period i.e. upto 30.03.2012. There is no provision of reengagement.
The period of SRFs shall be for a period of one year extendable with the extension of the project on medicinal mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) under the AMAAS of the NBAIM (Mau). The selected candidate(s) shall have no legal right to claim regularization by absorption or otherwise against any regular posts or any further contractual engagement on termination of the XIth Plan in the Institute.
The engagement is purely time bound, non-regular and on co-terminous basis with the XIth Plan Project. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the sanction Government strives to have a work force which reflects gender-balance, and women candidate are encouraged to apply.
Only eligible candidates meeting the essential qualifications shall be interviewed. They should bring an application on plain paper addressed to Head, Division of Biochemistry, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012 alongwith complete bio-data giving full particulars i.e. proof of age, qualifications, examination passed, marks obtained in each examination, experience, papers published, NOC from present employer etc. alongwith attested copies of certificates.
