WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Following positions are to be filled up on purely temporary and contractual basis for three years renewable on yearly basis which are co-terminus with the project entitled “Effective and safe treatment for malaria in pregnancy in India : a randomized controlled trial. A Phase-II/III randomized clinical trial of the efficacy and safety of artesunate + sulphadoxine-pyrimethamine and artesunate + mefloquine to treat uncomplicated malaria in pregnancy.

ii) Research Assistant – 1 (for hospital & field work at Ranchi)

Salary/ Remuneration: Rs.10,700/-p.m. (Consolidated) No other allowances

Qualifications: M. Sc Life/Allied Sciences with two year research/field experience in malaria.

Desirable: Experience in Clinical Research / Vector Borne Diseases.

Age limit: Up to 28 years (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules or in deserving cases).

iii) Field Supervisor cum Laboratory Technician – 1 (for hospital & field work at Ranchi)

Salary/ Remuneration: Rs.9,630/-p.m. (Consolidated) No other allowances.

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in life science or Intermediate with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 years Lab experience.

Age limit: Up to 28 Years

Place of duty : The contractual staff could be posted anywhere in Jamshedpur hospital & field areas as deemed fit for the progress of the work.
