Description for JRF:

Applications on plain paper with complete bio-data and supporting attested documents are invited for one post of JRF @ Rs 12,000 p.m. + HRA (as per rule), for the DAE/BRNS sponsored and BARC collaborated research project entitled ‘Genetic Transformation of Pearl Millet (Pennisetum Glaucum) with a Synthetic Homologue of Magainin II (MSI-99) Gene and Evaluation of the Transgenic Plants for Resistance to Downey Mildew’ (Sanction letter No. 2008/37/26/BRNS/2372 dated 09 January 2009) available till 9 January 2012.

The candidate should be M.Sc. in Botany/ Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks.

No TA/DA will be paid to the short-listed candidates for attending the interview.

This position is purely temporary and its continuation in the projects depends on the satisfactory performance.
