Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES) project : “Studies on anti HIV properties of extracts derived from marine organisms”

Duration of the project : 12 Months (likely to be extended based on (for all posts) performance)

Essential Qualification for SRF : M.Sc., degree in Microbiology or any branch of (1 post) life sciences. Two years of research experience.

Desirable Qualification for SRF : Experience in handling cell lines, Virology, Immunology and Molecular biology Techniques

Fellowship : Rs. 14,000 p.m (Consolidated)

LAB TECHNICIANS

Essential Qualification for : B.Sc., MLT / B.Sc. or H.Sc, with DMLT

Lab Technicians (2 posts)

Desirable Qualification for : Two years experience in Microbiology

Lab Technicians (2 posts) laboratory, handling cell lines, Immunoassays, animal handling

Salary : Rs. 6,000 p.m (Consolidated)

Note:

This project is approved for one year and likely to be extended based on performance. All eligible SRF and lab personnel will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided. Applications should reach the under-signed on or before 28/06/2010.
