TEZPUR UNIVERSITY
Applications are invited for the temporary post of one (01) Junior Research Fellow in the DBT sponsored project entitled “Characterization of a potential auto transporter adhesion function in Ralstonia solanacearum, the causal agent of bacterial wilt in plants”
under the Principal Investigator Dr. S.K. Ray, Associate Professor,
Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University.
Date of the Interview: 3rd July 2014
Venue:
Committee Room (Adjacent to Department office room), Department of
Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Tezpur.
Duration: Till completion of the project or until further, whichever is earlier.
Remuneration:
Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month
for Non NET/SLET/GATE/BET/BINC candidates. Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen
thousand) only + HRA as per rules per month for NET/SLET/GATE/BET/BINC
qualified candidates. (Payment of remuneration is subject to release of
fund by the funding agency).
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences.
Desirable: Experience in works involving plant-associated bacterial interaction studies.
Age:
Candidate should not be more that 28 years of age on the stipulated
last date of receiving applications in response to advertisement. The
upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates
belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically challenged applicants.
