1. Name of the Project: “Development of multiplexed diagnostic biosensor for infectious reproductive diseases of cattle and buffaloes”.

Essential qualifications: Master degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life sciences and related disciplines with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.

2. Name of the Project: Confirmation of lactation performance and animal safety of dairy animals of the Bos sp. treated with recombinant bovine somatotropin.
Name of the principal investigator: Dr. V.P. Maurya, Principal Investigator, ELANCO PROJECT, P&C Division
Name & Number of Position: Senior Research Fellow – One
Essential qualification: MVSc (Veterinary Physiology with graduation in veterinary science or MSc (Biotechnology)/allied field. The experience in working with large ruminants and knowledge of blood analysis and milk analysis will be given preference.

3a. Name of the Project: NFBSFARA Funded Project entitled ““RNAi mediated comparative functional analysis of immune response genes in ruminants and fish against Mycobacterium avium ssp. paratuberculosis and M. fortuitum” (Till Dec 2014)
Name of the principal investigator: Dr Abhijit Mitra, PS & National fellow, AG Division, Izatnagar (drabhijitmitra@gmail.com)
Name & Number of Position: Senior Research Fellow (One)
Essential Qualification:
(1) Educational: M.V.Sc./Ph.D (Animal Genetics/Animal Biotechnology/Animal Reproduction/Veterinary Physiology/Veterinary Microbiology/Animal Biochemistry) or M. Sc./Ph.D. (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Animal science/Microbiology).
(2) Skills and Techniques: Working knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques and/Microbiology evident only through dissertation work/ research publication. The mere acquaintance of techniques by attending trainings/ workshop/seminar and course-work will not be considered.

Essential Qualification: (1) Educational: as above at 3a (2) Skills and Techniques: as above except working knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques and/or reproductive
biotechnologies (viz, handling of sperm, embryo, IVF etc.).

Essential qualifications: Master degree/Ph.D in the relevant fields as mentioned under the respective projects as above
Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 18,000 (1st and 2nd year) and Rs. 20,000 (3rd year) + 20% HRA for post graduate degree in professional courses (MVSC or MD) and consolidated Rs. 16,000 (1st and 2nd year) and Rs. 18,000 (3rd year) + 20% HRA for post graduate degree in basic sciences. (As per ICAR/Funding agency guidelines)
Age limit: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GoI norms).
Selection procedure: The eligible candidate(s) may appear directly in a Walk-in-interview. The candidates are required to furnish all the testimonials in original and submit detailed Bio-data along with a color passport size photo at the time of interview. However, the applicants may submit a copy of their Biodata/CV along with a color passport size photo in advance by post or by mail.
NO TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview and No separate letter for the
interview will be issued.
