Applications
are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a
purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Life
Science of the Institute.
1. Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow- 01
2. Name of the Research Project : “Phototrophic biofilm based waste water recycling for sustainable water usage in rubber latex coagulation”
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : DBT (Twinning), GoI
4 Tenure of the Project : 01 years
5 Tenure of the Assignment : 03 years (based on the performance) OR completion of the project, whichever is earlier
6 Job Description : To carry out research work & experiments related to the project and to continue Ph.D. on the topic of this project work.

Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs.16,000/- P.M. from
project for 01 year and from the project or from the Institute for 02
years on satisfactory performance
8. Essential Qualifications and experience : M.Sc./ M.Tech/ (OR equivalent) in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology or
related subjects with 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10 point scale.

Candidates with successful score in GATE or NET of UGC/CSIR/ ICMR/DBT/ICAR (Lectureship/JRF) will be given preference.
Relaxation in GATE may be given to the outstanding experienced candidates.

Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Research experience or
knowledge in quorum sensing, biofilm and microbial bioremediation will
be preferred.
10.Accommodation : Bachelor
accommodation in the hostel will be provided and Campus accommodation
may be provided to married students subject to availability. (campus
stay is compulsory)
