Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior/ Senior Research Fellow (JRF)
to work on the following project sponsored by DST, under the
supervision of Ramakrishna Vadrevu, Department of Biological Sciences,
BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
Title of the project: Consequences of cellular crowding on structure stability and folding of a TIM barrel protein
Duration of the project: 3 years 2012-July-2015 July
Project position and number: Junior Research Fellow
Fellowship amount: 12,000 pm
Eligibility requirements:
M.Sc in Biochemistry/Chemistry. M.Tech in Biotechnolog. First Division.
Students with M.Sc degree in Chemistry must have biochemistry
background at bachelors level. Experience/exposure to protein
purification, Protein NMR spectroscopy and Circular
Dichroism/Fluorescence spectroscopic techniques will be a plus. NET/GATE
Qualified candidates may be preferred.
