Applications are invited on a plain paper (along with copies of educational qualifications and experience) from eligible candidates for selection for position of JRF under the project entitled “Metabolomics applications to the identification of new therapeutic targets for tuberculosis treatment” (DST/INT/Spain/P-26/2011 sponsored by Department of Science and Technology
(DST) sanctioned to Dr. Sharmistha Banerjee, Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad
Position: Junior Research Fellow – 1 No.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) @ Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA* pm (fixed) for UGC-CSIR-NET qualified appointees; Rs. 12,000 + HRA* pm for Non-NET appointees
Qualifications
Minimum qualification: M.Sc. in any area of Biology/Biotechnology.
Research experience: Candidates should essentially have the experience of working in hospitals, handling patient blood and other tissues samples, patient data and stock maintenance, isolation of primary cells, DNA, RNA and proteins from patient samples. Additional experience of immunological techniques and cell culture would be preferred.
Duration: Appointments are made for one year and can be extendible after review each year until the duration of the project
Only candidates who would fit into the objectives of the project would be called for
the interview.
Applications (along with photocopies of their qualifications/experience and reprints of published work) should also be accompanied by a reference letter.
