Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate/Senior Research Fellow/Lab Assistant for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

Microbicides for Prevention of HIV Transmission and other Sexually Transmitted Infection: In vitro Efficacy and Pre-Clinical safety Evaluation Tenable till-14.1.2016

Qualifications: -

Research Associate: - Ph.D any branch of Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry.

Senior Research Fellow: - M.Sc in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 2 years experience.

Lab Assistant: - Graduate in Life Sciences.

Emoluments: -

Research Associate: - Rs. 23,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA.

Senior Research Fellow: - Rs. 18,000/- per month consolidated + 30% HRA.

Lab Assistant: - Rs. 16,179/- per month fixed.

Job description & Desired Knowledge:-

Research Associate: - Candidate should have experience in Cell Culture, Virology, Phytochemistry/Molecular Biology and cell based assays upon viral infection, flow cytometery.

Senior Research Fellow: Candidates should have experience in Microbiology/Immunology/Cell Culture/Cell based assays upon viral infection, flow cytometery.

Lab Assistant: - Candidate having practical experience in Biology/Medical Sciences/ based research from Institution/University will be given preference.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.  The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.

2. No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.

3. Number of posts may vary and shall be need based. Advertisement is no commitment.

4. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.

5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for.

6. Apart from sending application in prescribed format from which is given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of two referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise.
