Walk-in interview will be held on 4th April, 2012 (Wednesday) at 11:00 am in the Department of Botany, Mizoram University, Aizawl for the post of two (2) – RA (or) JRF (or) SRF under CSIR Major Research Project entitled, “Characterization of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria and Nitrogen fixing Cyanobacteria from Paddy Fields of Mizoram for development of Location Specific Biofertilizer”;

Duration: 03 years

Eligibility for RA: Candidates having Ph.D. degree in Botany/Life Sciences or equivalent. Evidence of research experience in microbiology techniques is essential from published work;

Emolument: Rs. 22,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible; Age: Below 35 years.

Eligibility for SRF: Candidates having M.Sc. degree in botany/Life Sciences or equivalent and two years of post M.Sc. Evidence of research experience in microbiology techniques is essential from published work;

Emolument: Rs. 18,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible; Age: Below 32 years.

Eligibility for JRF: Candidates having M.Sc. degree in botany/Life Sciences or equivalent and the candidate must qualified NET (JRF/LS)/GATE;

Emolument: Rs. 16,000/- pm plus HRA as eligible; Age: Below 28 years.

General: The eligibility, age and emoluments will be strictly as per CSIR norms. Appointment is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should bring all the original certificates/testimonials for verification along with CV and copies of certificates.
