Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one temporary position of Junior Research Fellow under the project "Role of dopamine in the regulation of reproduction of the catfish, Clarias sp." funded by SERB, DST, India in the School of Biological SCiences, NISER.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF):

QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. or equivalent degree (minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences/Zoology/Neuroscience/ Physiology/Biotechnology/ or any other similar branch in Biosciences.

Candidates with prior experience in animal handling and molecular biology techniques will get preference.

All candidates should have valid CSIR-UGC-NET/ GATE qualification.

Fellowship: - ~ 16, 000/- + HRA (as per DST norms)

AGE: 28 years as on 26.03.2012, age relaxation to entitled categories as per DST rules.

Last Date of Receipt of Application: - 26.03.2012.

The above position is purely temporary, initially for a period of one year (likely to be extended further) but strictly co-terminous with the project. It would, therefore, not confer any right/ claim, implicit, or explicit for consideration/absorption against any NISER post.

Original documents should be produced at the time of interview. Mere fulfillment of qualifications/experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview.
