Subject: Advertisement for the award of “Senior Research Fellowships”

Applications are invited for the award of One positions of SRF under the Project entitled “Mapping of Mungbean Yellow Mosaic Virus resistance loci in Soybean” funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India on consolidated fellowship of Rs. 14000/- per month on purely temporary basis.

Initial appointment would be for six months but depending upon satisfactory performance it is extendible up to 3 years.

Applicants possessing the following qualifications should apply on plain paper on the prescribed Proforma given as under to Dr. Pushpendra, Principal Investigator, DBT Project, Deptt. of Genetics & Plant Breeding, College of Agriculture, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar – 263 145, U. S. Nagar, Uttarakhand latest by 04/02/2012 and appear for the interview on 06/02/2012 at 10.00 AM in the office of the Undersigned.

No separate interview letter will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.

Qualification:

Essential: M. Sc (Ag) Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding/M.Sc. in Genetics/Biotechnology

Desirable: Working knowledge of molecular markers.
