SUBJECT: POSITION AVAILABLE

Applications are invited for a post of JRF in the DBT funded project entitled "Development of Multi-analyte Immunosensor for Pesticide Detection". The work principally involves fabrication of Immunoglobulins based biosensor using chemical/electrochemical methods, via, use of nano composites of conducting polymers, self assembled monolayers, nano particles, thin films etc. The fabricated electrodes would be optimized, characterised & utilized for its response characteristics using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry etc. for detection of pesticides for application towards environmental monitoring. The position is temporary and available until 13^th January 2013 (or till the end of the project).

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. or M. Tech Biotechnology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biophysics/ Bioelectronics etc. with NET/LS.

Desirable: 1 year working experience with biosensors/ molecular electronics and knowledge of computer operations.

Salary: As per DBT norms.

Note: No TA/DA shall be provided to candidates for attending the interview and the candidates have to make their own arrangements for stay at New Delhi.
