Qualification: Post Graduate (PG) degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology or equivalent of a recognized University with two years of research experience preferably in the area of Functional genomics/Proteomics involving C. elegans as model organism.

Emoluments : Rs. 14,000 + 15% HRA per month.

Duration : Six months

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow under the Department of Biotechnology funded project entitled ‘Epigenetic regulation of hypoxia signalling in neuronal models: role of HIF1 and its regulation in behaviour of Caenorhabditis elegans and in neuronal cultures’.

The appointment will be for a period of three years with a fellowship of Rs 16,000 + 30% HRA per month in the first two years and Rs 18,000 + 30% HRA per month in the third year.
