1. Position (No.) : RA (5)

Subject area : Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/Plant Breeding

Essential qualification : Ph.D. or M.Sc. (with 2 years experience) in Plant Physiology/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences

Desirable (experience in the following areas) : Use of controlled environment facilities (FACE, OTC, Phytotron, Growth chamber)

2. Position (No.) : RA (5)

Subject area : Natural resource management
Essential qualification : Ph.D. or M.Sc. (with 2 years experience) in Environmental Sciences/ Agronomy/Soil Science/
Microbiology/Life Sciences/Water Sciences
Desirable (experience in the following areas) : GHG emission/Conservation agriculture/Soil and plant analysis

4. Position (No.) : RA (1)

Subject area : Plant protection

Essential qualification : Ph.D. or M.Sc. with 2 years experience in Entomology/Pathology/Plant protection sciences

Desirable (experience in the following areas) : Simulation modeling, climate data analysis

5. Position (No.) : SRF (10)

Subject area : Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/Plant Breeding

Essential qualification : M.Sc. in Plant Physiology/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences

8. Position (No.) : SRF (5)

Subject area : Plant protection

Essential qualification : M.Sc. in Entomology/ Pathology/Plant protection sciences

Desirable (experience in the following areas) : Simulation modeling, climate data analysis SRF (4) Extension M.Sc. in Agril. Extension On-farm demonstration

Emoluments:

Research Associate:
Rs 23000 per month + HRA admissible as per rule (M.Sc. degree holders)
Rs 24000 per month + HRA admissible as per rule (Ph.D. degree holders)

Senior Research Fellow:

Rs 16000 per month + HRA admissible
