Applications are invited for the following positions in the Department of Applied Genetics under the project “Research Center for DNA Diagnostics” funded by Government of Karnataka purely on temporary basis initially for a period of one year, and may be extendable for two more years.

1.Name of the position : Senior Research Fellow

Number of the position : 2

Qualifications First Class M.Sc. in Applied Genetics/ Life Science/Biological Anthropology or MBBS. Preference will be given to UGC/CSIR NET qualified candidates.

Experience At least One year Experience in Molecular Biology or Human cytogenetic field desirable

Salary As per DST Guidelines

2.Name of the position Junior Research Fellow

Number of the position : 5

Qualifications : NET Qualified/First class M. Sc. in Applied Genetics/ Life Sciences

Experience : Experience in Cytogenetic & Molecular Biology Techniques preferred

Salary As per DST Guidelines.
