Director, IIHR invites suitable candidates as per their eligibility to attend “WALK IN INTERVIEW” at this Institute for various temporary positions of SRF/ RA/Skilled Assistant on contract basis as per details given below:

Positions : SRF - 10 posts
Fellowship / Qualification : Rs 16,000/- PM + HRA
Essential: M.Sc in Plant Physiology/ Botany/ Life Science
Desirable:
1. Experience in Plant physiological techniques2. Good knowledge of computer applications
Date of Walk in Interview : 18.01.2011
Positions : RA - 4 posts
Fellowship / Qualification : M.Sc holders - Rs 23,000/- PM + HRA
Ph.D holders - Rs 24,000/- PM + HRA
Desirable:
1. Hands on experience on physiology of abiotic stresses & crop modeling2. Good knowledge of computer applications
Essential: M.Sc in Plant Physiology/ Botany / Life Science with 2 years experience or Ph.D in Plant physiology/ Botany/ Life Science

Technical Assistant -1 post
Fellowship / Qualification : Rs 8,000/- PM (Consolidated)
Essential:
1. Graduation with experience in data handling in computer2. Working knowledge of MS Word, Power-point, Excel & Photoshop
Date of Walk in Interview : 20.01.2011
The candidates may appear for walk in interview alongwith their resume at 10.00 AM at this Institute.
Age limit:
RA: 40 years for men & 45 years for women. SRF: 35 years for men & 40 years for women
(Relaxable in the case of SC/ST, OBC and other exempted categories of candidates to the extent permissible under Rules).

On selection He/She has to deposit an equivalent sum of the value of one month remuneration as “refundable caution deposit”.
No TA/DA is permisible. Research Fellows who have earlier worked in the ICAR projects will be given preference for appointment over fresh candidates while engaging Research Fellow in the said projects subject to their suitability and good conduct.
