Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology (IGIB), desires to engage qualified incumbents on purely temporary basis as detailed below:

1. Project Title/Code "A holistic approach to establish the existence of in vivo RNA quadruplexes" (Project Code: GAP0061)

Project Associate

Essential Qualification Ph.D in Physics/ Chemistry/ Molecular Biology. Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply.

Age Limit 35 years

Stipend Rs. 17000/- + 30% HRA per month

Initial Tenure One year

JRF (Project)

Essential Qualification First class M. Sc. in Life Science having at least one year post M.Sc. Experience with NET qualification

Age Limit 30 years

Stipend Rs. 12000/- + 30% HRA per month

2.Project Title/ Code "An integrative biology approach in deciphering genotype-phenotype correlation for human complex disorders" (Project Code: SIP0006)

Project Assistant (Level - I)

Essential Qualification First class M. Sc. In Biochemistry/Biotechnology

Age Limit 28 years

Stipend Rs. 10000/- per month

Initial Tenure One year

How to Apply: The eligible applicant can apply for maximum of two projects and the candidate has to email their resume in "MS word" format directly to hrd@igib.res.in by 01-12-10. No application would be entertained with "result awaited" status or after due date.

(In subject line of the email please mention: " application for Dec 2010" example: GAP0061 application for Project Assistant Dec 2010 ). Kindly write correct project code and format otherwise application will not reach to the concern department.

The email will be sent to the short listed candidates. The personal interview will held on 20-12-2010.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates to attend the interview. The engagement shall be as per guidelines of CSIR/Funding agency. Candidates will have option to give reply in Hindi.

Note: The shortlisted candidates, who have received the email for interview, have to report at 09:30 AM for interview along with any Photo ID card and original certificates for entry purpose. Entry will be closed by 10:15 AM.
